Fiber stainless steel needles are used to reinforce refractory castable as needed. The standard rate of use is 2% of the material weight or approximately 1lbs of needles per bag.
Needle length is 1 '' (25mm).
Limit operating temperature according to the grades:
- SS304: 1800 ° F
- SS446: 2010 ° F
- SS310: 2100 ° F
