REFRACTORY CASTABLE - 70% ALUMINA - 50 LBS

This refractory castable with a low cement content (slacked lime) has excellent mechanical properties such as abrasion resistance and low porosity. 

Baking: It is important to bake the refractories slowly to prevent them from cracking or bursting. After curing for 24 hours (drying of the fresh concrete), the refractory can be baked gradually at a rate of 25°C/h, stopping at 150°C, 315°C and 540°C for stages of a few hours (1h / inch of material).

Density: 168 lbs / ft3.
